Cascade is located in Cascade County, Montana, approximately 25 miles southwest of Great Falls and 65 miles northeast of Helena. The city is home to a population of approximately 700 residents and a solid progressive economy based largely in construction, healthcare, and retail. Economic amenities such as low unemployment, recent positive job growth, and a 1.2% rise in home appreciation rates over the past twelve months continue to draw new residents and businesses to the city each year.

Cascade is served by the Cascade Public School District and located within 50 miles of several institutes of higher learning that include the University of Great Falls and University of Montana-Helena College of Technology.

The city’s semi-arid climate produces perfect weather for enjoying the numerous opportunities for year-round outdoor sports and recreation that dominate the area. Situated at the mouth of the Missouri River Canyon, Cascade is bordered to the east by the Missouri River where anglers will find excellent fishing for rainbow and brown trout. Holter Lake is located 25 miles to the south and features first-rate facilities for camping, boating, and picnicking, as well as excellent fishing for rainbow and brown trout, walleye pike, and perch.

The nearby mountains draw hunters from around the country, who converge on the area for in-season hunts of elk, whitetail deer, mule deer, antelope, and pheasant. Cascade is located within 80 miles of Helena National Forest, a diverse expanse of mountain forests and grass and sagebrush lowlands that covers more than 900 acres across west-central Montana. The forest is an excellent resource for camping, picnicking, and recreational watersports and features more than 700 miles of trails suitable for hiking and horseback riding.

Conveniently situated along Interstate 15, Cascade is a great place to live, work, and enjoy the good life in west-central Montana!
